WMD is still
under construction. This site will include medical equipment
that is considered historical, the weird, and medical quackery.
An up to date links that include sites that include, or focus
on WMDs. I would also like to complile a list of brick and mortar
museums that are dedicated to WMDs. |

This
is a photo of Laurel and Hardy in the movie, Saps at Sea. Oliver
is getting a make shift pulmonary function from Stanley with
a balloon. Note the close-up markings on the right. It looks
like it is
in increments of 10 something or other. |

This
is an early oxygen cannula that was probably in use in the forties.
The headstrap is canvas and the tubing is made out of metal.
Looks like it would not be comfortable at all.
The cannula was discovered in a hospital "attic" in St. Louis,
MO. |
